ED COHEN, DVM
Dr. Ed Cohen is a 1988 graduate of the University of Illinois College of Veterinary Medicine. Before opening Anthem Pet Medical Center in June 2005, he worked at and partly owned a successful veterinary practice in the Moon Valley area of Phoenix for 13 years. Dr. Cohen enjoys all aspects of being a veterinarian and has a special interest in diagnosing and treating complex medical conditions, performing soft tissue surgery, working with pocket pets, employing select holistic medical treatments, and utilizing comprehensive measures to absolutely minimize pain and distress in his patients. He is a member of the American Veterinary Medical Association, Arizona Veterinary Medical Association, Veterinary Information Network, American Holistic Veterinary Medical Association, and the International Veterinary Academy of Pain Management.
In his spare time, Dr. Cohen enjoys spending time with his wife and two daughters, playing with his three dogs and ferret, being physically active, cooking, and reading.
SHERI SABO, DVM
Dr. Sheri Sabo received her Bachelor of Science degree from ASU in 1997 and her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree from Colorado State University in 2001. She is a general practitioner and surgeon with dogs, cats, ferrets, rabbits, pocket pets, and specializes in reptile medicine. Dr. Sabo's interests include preventative medicine, internal medicine, dentistry, soft-tissue surgery, dermatology, and pain control.
Dr. Sabo lives in New River with an assortment of four-legged loved ones, including dogs, cats, and tortoises. Her hobbies include traveling, SCUBA diving, hiking, and spectator sports.
